It is particularly known for the brilliant wit combats between Benedick and Beatrice and their gulling by arranged eavesdropping but also a darker strain, the almost tragically ending slander of Hero. The class offers the opportunity to practice the analytical skills that are usually required in an academic reading of plays . It has two specific objectives: to explore the employed means of comedy against the background of Renaissance poetics and views on laughter and to show how the two intrigues in the play are concerned with major issues in early modern English culture. While bilateral relations have flourished in the 19901 and 2000s, they have become much more complex and much more difficult since the late 2010s. Today, mutual sanctions highlight the degree of political controversy between the two economic and political global powers. In the eyes of the European Union on current policies. It thus seeks to shed light on similarities and differences between China policies of different EU member states and their implication on EU China relations. The European Union and the People's Republic of China consider themselves strategic partners. While bilateral relations have flourished in the 19901 and 2000s, they have become much more complex and much more difficult since to the study of international relations, this seminar seeks to analyse the framework for EU-China relations including changing perceptions and expectations and their effects on current policies. The lecture gives an overview over the present status of general philosophy of science. It deals, on the one hand, with problems of methods and certain key concepts (such as “explanation�? and � ��understanding�?); on the other hand, it examines questions that focus on the significance of the historicity of scientific knowledge for the present sciences.The lecture is initially addressed to students of philosophy in general and of the master program HPS+ in particular. It is open for interested students of other subjects with (at least) basic knowledge in theoretical philosophy, which is possible to gain in the module � ��Introduction to theoretical philosophy�?
